Job Description
Senior Credit Controller
A leading waste management organisation based in Northern Ireland are looking for a Senior Credit Controller as they continue to grow their share on the market.
Senior Credit Controller Responsibilities
- You will manage all credit control activities across the group and ensure their completion within the team.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to the company's policies and procedures.
- Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the collection of outstanding debts.
- Ensure compliance with the company's credit policies and procedures to meet business objectives.
- Conduct efficient collection of all debts/payments whilst maintaining regular communication with clients to ensure invoices are paid.
- Resolve both internal and external queries related to unpaid invoices.
- Escalate disputed or complex accounts to the Financial Controller promptly for proper management.
Senior Credit Controller Requirements
- Experience handling a large customer base, including consumer and commercial debt.
- Experience managing a direct debit portfolio.
- Strong understanding of general ledger reconciliations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
