Senior Composites Manufacturing Engineer

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Composites Manufacturing Engineer (Product Specialist) for our market-leading manufacturing client in Ballymena who is currently bringing ground-breaking and innovative technological advances to their industry.

This is an excellent opportunity to be involved with a well-established, highly successful manufacturing business bringing best-in-class solutions and products to the market.

As the Composites Manufacturing Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting the business to increase its capability and understanding of composite technologies, delivering engineering solutions and embed strong production processes to meet the future needs of the organisation.

You will have:-

• HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline OR at least 5 years relevant experience will be considered.
• You will have previous experience of composite manufacturing gained in a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to deliver improvements to composite material selection and process development, NPI, approvals, continuous improvement and been involved in problem-solving techniques on a production line.
• Strong IT Skills (including Microsoft Office & Excel), 3D modelling experience with an understanding of engineering drawings, tooling and ERP & MBOM and routing generation.
