Senior Company Lawyer

MCS are delighted to be partnering with a well known Public Sector organisation based in Belfast City Centre in their search for a Senior Lawyer to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role is offering an excellent opportunity to gain specialist legal experience in a specialised sector.

The Role:
You will provide specialised senior legal advice and assist in managing a legal team to support on a range of legal matters arising for a public organisation. This legal support should be both pragmatic and business focused, delivered across all the business functions, but principally to General Counsel and Company Secretary, Senior Management and the Executive team.

The Person:
Be a qualified solicitor or barrister and with not less than 5 years PQE

• 2 years' experience of company and commercial law.
• 
  Experience of law relevant to business organisation.
• 
  Experience of providing advice to a large multi-faceted client or commercial organisation.
• 
  Experience of corporate governance matters.
