Job Description

MCS Group is currently working alongside a NI Based SaaS business to recruit a Senior Account Manager.
As Senior Account Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales for the product portfolio across designated territories/markets to maximise revenue, ensure the achievement of business goals and support the future growth of the business.


This will play an integral role in the success of the overall sales team by managing all aspects of the sales process including active prospecting, qualification, evaluation, close and handover to customer Success Team.
Starting as a Senior Account Manager this role has the potential to role to Sales Manager within eh next 6-12 months.

  • Acquire new customers through executing a robust sales strategy, acting as an ambassador for the business
  • Generate revenue by meeting and exceeding sales quotas through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities within your assigned area
  • Proactively act on leads generated through the marketing strategy
  • Develop and manage the sales pipeline. This will involve prospecting, assessing and progressing multiple transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline
  • Manage and track customer interactions and transactions using CRM system
  • Provide presentations, product demonstrations and general support to prospective customers including participation in Trade Show events
  • Provide regular reporting of prospecting, pipeline and forecast through the CRM system
  • Work as a key member of the team contributing to development, implementation and review of targets to deliver on the company's performance and future growth
  • Contribute to ensuring a high performance working environment by working to maximise the of your team, participating in regular reviews and undertaking ongoing development/coaching or other support as required
  • Contribute to the development of the company's culture by fostering positive working relationships across the business and role modelling the company's values to ensure a positive working environment for all staff and contractors

Essential Criteria:

  • 3-5 years experience working within a Saas based environment
  • Excellent consultative sales approach
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience running a full sales cycle from prospecting to deal close
