Quality Control Manager

MCS Group is delighted to recruit a Quality Control Manager for our successful client based in Carrickfergus. Our client has expanded steadily to include multiple manufacturing facilities across Japan, China, USA, Mexico, Thailand, and Europe. They are a world-class supplier of high-quality, technically complex automotive components.

As the Quality Control Manager you will:

• Responsible for the internal quality, quality technicians, rework, and audit of the department
• Manage activities of the QA Lab including supervision, development, and training of the Lab Technicians
• Maintain and Control measurement, Inspection, and Test equipment
• Continuous Improvement Activities
• Support new product launches and participate in APQP activity

You will have:

• Third-level qualification in an engineering/technical discipline (Candidates with a lesser qualification, significant relevant experience, and a demonstrated commitment to personal development will also be considered)
• Knowledge of QMS including standards ISO 14001, ISO 18001, TS 16949
• Working knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, and measurement system analysis
• Proven track record in the application of problem-solving techniques
