MCS are delighted to be working with a well-established Accountancy Practice in South Belfast, looking for a Qualified Accountant to join their team.

The Company

Our client is a well-established Accountancy Practice that has been operating for more than 35 years and provides a range of top class services to their varied client base, such as Audit, Accounts, Taxation and Insolvency. Due to internal promotions and an extended period of growth, now is the ideal time to join the Practice as a Qualified Accountant with the opportunity to grow into a senior role.

The Role

As the successful Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

• Accounts Production
• Tax Compliance/support
• Leading a select number of audits throughout the year
• Managing a portfolio of clients
• Managing/Supervising junior members of staff
• Building and strengthening client relationships
• Other ad-hoc duties outlined in the full description

The Person

The successful Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards
• Strong technical knowledge of Auditing standards
• Experience leading an audit
• Previous experience in an Accountancy Practice
• Someone who is ambitious and wants to progress their career
