Job Description
MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Purchase Ledger for our client based in Toome on a full time, permanent basis.
Our client is one of the UK and Ireland's largest manufacturer in their field. Operating sustainably in their market, they have been successfully manufacturing products for more than 40 years. They have been doing so across 3 sites and have been pioneering industry firsts to maximise performance and solutions for their customers. As they now seek a Purchase Ledger to join their team, they are offering £22k - £25k, 28 days holidays, pension, free parking & more.
The Role:
As Purchase Ledger you will contribute to developing a highly functioning Finance team, ensuring accurate and timely input of data and report production.
Duties include:
- Issuing purchase order numbers.
- Recording and ensuring purchase invoices are approved before deadlines.
- Approving and reconciling supplier accounts for month end.
- Dealing with some enquires from both customers and suppliers and passing them onto the relevant departments.
- General adhoc duties, as required.
What you need to succeed:
- 1-2 years of experience in Purchase Ledger or similar role
- Proficient with Microsoft packages (Excel and Word)
- Great attention to detail and highly organised
- Hard working, team player
