Project Manager - Software

MCS Group is looking for a Software Project Manager for a 3 month contract in Belfast. This Software Project Manager will PM the implementation of a core software platform for the end client. Acting as the main POC on the project, you will use your prior experience managing software specific projects to ensure a streamline implementation for the client. Joining during Phase 1, the contract will last for circa 3 months, and will appeal to Project Managers who specialise in innovative and bespoke software projects.

** This role involves HYBRID working in Northern Ireland. Applicants must be available to work on-site in Belfast at least 2 days per week. **

The Detail

You will be the main point of contact for the implementation of this key software platform for the end client. You will manage communication between stakeholders, and use your previous experience working on software specific projects to facilitate a successful implementation.

You will collaborate with the client to agree time-frames and milestones, setting goals and creating a plan to ensure a successful outcome.

This Project Manager will facilitate status meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and governance is in place.

You will track project progress, ensuring time-frames and budgets are adhered to.

You will also assess project risks, create contingency plans, and ensure correct formal approvals are received throughout the project life-cycle.

The Person

You will have demonstrable experience of working in a project management capacity on a bespoke software product in a software environment (essential).

Experience working with MS O365 applications including Project, Planner, Teams, PowerPoint and Excel.

A formal project management certification is required e.g. PMP or Prince2.

Due to the urgent nature of this role, you should be able to interview and start almost immediately.

Duration: 3 months
Rate: £375 per day
IR35: Outside
Location: ON SITE in Belfast 2 days per week
