As the Production Engineer you will:

• Provide technical leadership to production team members
• Co-ordinate process related fault finding and issue resolutions
• Utilize lean techniques, experience and knowledge to enhance manufacturing processes by improving yield, quality, throughput and productivity
• Work with the production team to drive efficiency advances within manufacturing & operational processes
• Liaise with 3rd party contractors when required to solve problems and develop processes
• Train production operators to improve their process knowledge and technical problem-solving skills

You will have:

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronic Manufacturing or related Electrical Engineering discipline, or a time-served Electrical Maintenance Technician with suitable experience in a production environment
• At least five years' experience in ideally a food manufacturing environment
• A proven track record in production technical processes, continuous improvement / OEE
• Experience with PLCs, variable speed drives and fault-finding
