Job Description
MCS Group is proud to be seeking a Security Operations Tooling Engineer to joining a global SOC located here in Belfast. You will be working with a multitude of clients across a range of cloud infrastructures, deploying an array of tools to enable the SOC to meet their clients security needs and support the under lying tools and applications that enable them to protect your clients for intrusion and cyber attack

- You will be required to support US cleints on a 2pm - 10pm UK based rota
The role
- Onboard and deploy both on-prem and cloud based tools across multiple clients infrastructures
- Work with Windows, Linux and end point detection tools
- Resolve issues that arise and implement creative solutions to resolve them
- Continually strive for improvements and evolve with an ever-changing landscape
- Work across multiple skillsets including the security. Development teams, account heads, and client stakeholders
Needed to succeed
- Fundamental understanding of networking principles
- Strong Linux or windows experience
- Creative troubleshooting skills
- SIEM, Firewall or other security detection tool experience
