My client is a homegrown and highly successful product company with offices in America & Europe who provides cutting-edge solutions for over 50 million users worldwide.
Due to continued growth and success, they have an opportunity for a Principal Data Engineer to join the team, optimise the data architecture and drive innovation.

The Role
- Take ownership of and define the data roadmap.
- Design and implement improvements in the data system.
- Work with internal stakeholders to support the data requirements of the business.
- Develop data storage and data lakehouse infrastructure, making effective use of data.
- Adhere to industry standards in data governance processes
About you:
- Experienced Senior Data Engineer with project leadership skills.
- Solid experience with ETL tools and data warehousing.
- Ability to work collaboratively and be a natural problem solver.
- Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, AWS, Databricks and Fivetran
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI / Tableau
