Platform Engineering Manager (Gaming)

Are you passionate about building and supporting backend systems that empower gamer experiences?

MCS Group is delighted to be collaborating exclusively with a high-profile games studio in their search for a Platform Engineering Manager, to lead and develop a team of engineers working on core game services and infrastructure.

In this role, you'll combine hands-on engineering with leadership duties like mentoring, career management, and setting direction. You'll collaborate closely with Product Owners/Management to prioritise workload and bring the project to life.

Your Background

• A supportive leader who can guide, delegate and motivate your team
• Skilled programming experience (C++, Golang, Java, Rust)
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Experience in the Gaming industry is a bonus!
