MCS Group is delighted to partner with one of the most exciting companies in Belfast. They have just moved into brand new Manufacturing premises in Belfast and are now recruiting a Plant Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a recently built, first of its kind plant designed to recycle magnets for the production of Rare Earth Oxides.

As the Plant Manager you will:

• Lead the operation of the Plant and the Technicians
• Work closely with the Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, and QESH functions to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the plant
• Be able to demonstrate your capability to lead and manage a team in a dynamic and rapidly progressing work environment
• Review plant performance and work with the Engineering Team to improve process efficiency

You will have:

• Either a relevant Science or Engineering degree, or you will have a relevant third level or above in Electrical, Mechanical, Process, or Operations Engineering
• You will have experience in leading a team
• You will be familiar with statutory testing regimes and plant safety practices including handling hazardous chemicals
• You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to work with other departmental representatives
