Job Description
This position will have responsibility for providing human resources advice and support to stakeholders working closely with management to ensure the effective implementation of people solutions to enable development of organisational performance and good employee relations.
The Role will consist of:
- Provide innovative HR solutions to assist divisions to best manage HR.
- Aid in the delivery if projects to achieve HR objectives.
- Support development of performance management culture by coaching managers in implementation of performance management processes.
- Provide advice and guidance to managers on interpretation of legislation, policies and procedures to ensure best practice employee relations.
- Assist and support HRBPs in managing casework relative to short and long term absence.
- Supporting in recruitment and selections.
- Dealing with key stakeholders and external agencies on ER related matters, building and developing strong relationships and networks across divisions.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a HR role with includes handling Employee Relations within a unionised environment.
- Holds a minimum of a HNC/HND/ equivalent qualification in a business related or HRM discipline.
- Understanding of employee legislation and HR people policies and procedures.
- Experience in organisational change and culture.
- Experience managing and delivering HR projects.
- Willingness to travel across all locations within NI.
Desirable:
- Experience working within manufacturing / operations.
- CIPD qualified.
