Pen Tester

MCS Group is seeking an experienced Pen Tester to join an organisation that protects its client's critical IT infrastructure & applications on a global scale. In this role you will be tasked with finding vulnerabilities and attack angles to intrude upon their IT systems, using your knowledge of Pen testing methods, which will include social engineering, to identify, exploit, and ultimately, recommend how they can improve their security stance.

• Work on a variety of Penetration Testing focuses, Networking, APIs, Mobile apps and social engineering, across a variety of complex environments
• Work 9-5 UK time, with occasion work outside of these hours

The role

• Focus on Networking & IT Infrastructure Pen testing exercises
• Run full end-to-end Pen Tests, from the initial kick-off engagement meeting, through to the delivery of a comprehensive report of your findings
• Work within a team of SMEs which will allow you to develop your knowledge outside of one area of focus
• Create and develop new lines of service Eg. Red Teaming exercises, new and improved methods and techniques

Needed to succeed

• You must be eligable to work in the UK, and ideally live in Northern Ireland
• Possess one or more of the following certifications, OSCP, PNPT, OSEP or equivalent
• Hands-on Pen testing experience of 2 years or more
• A lifelong student attitude to learning, and a proven ability to keep up to date with emerging threats
• Clear, concise, and detailed communication skills, as you will be dealing directly with your clients
• The ability to deal with changing priorities
• A team player mentality, helping your colleagues when needed, and asking for help when you do too
