MCS Group is seeking a Pentester to join an organisation that has an evolved cyber Security team, spanning multiple areas of expertise. Working across a variety of cloud techs you will be providing solutions on an enterprise level, and on a global scale, to protect critical systems, platforms and data. Using all of your cyber security knowledge to test, break and ultimately then advise on how to plug and mitigate your finding to ensure a robust security posture.

The role

• Run manual and automated penetration tests to unveil security flaws in network infrastructure, security policies, and application code
• Execute offensive operations and focused penetration testing on large-scale applications, environments, and network infrastructure
• Make accurate and thorough reports and presentations for internal audiences, such as technical and executive audiences that are 2^nd to none in their detail and execution
• Assume personal responsibility for learning new concepts, procedures, and technologies, with a focus on improving and plugging any gaps and the dangers they pose
• Investigate new attack vectors and technologies, creating scripts, tools, or approaches to improve red teaming procedures

Needed to succeed

• 3^rd level IT related degree or relevant experience
• In depth knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments
• Relevant certifications
• Ability to present to board level stakeholders
