The role of a Pen Tester

• Protect that which matters most to the organisation, their ideas, concepts, and current technology offerings
• Stay ahead of emerging threats and protect against them
• Assess vulnerabilities for both internal and external projects

Needed to succeed as a Pen Tester

• Real world Penetration testing experience, 2 - 4 years
• Cyber Security Certifications - CEH, OSCP, SEC560, Crest
• Awareness of - Malware, Pen testing techniques, risk analysis, emerging threats, network monitoring tools any and all other attack vectors currently deployed by those with the dark hats on
