Operations Analyst

MCS is partnering with a renowned Investment Bank & Financial Services firm which have a strong presence in NI, to recruit for a skilled Operations Analyst for their Belfast office. This will be a key role I supporting UK based traders and clients across European markets.

This brand-new role is an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) for an operations or clearing professional with 2+ years' experience.

Your Package

• Package of £27,500 - £32,000 p/a
• Pension

What your day would look like

• Helping to ensure timely settlements of trades and reconciliation of any exceptions
• Managing multiple, simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Monitoring and reporting of cash and stock balances
• Trade settlement data analysis
• Client and Front-Office liaison
• Working closely and effectively with colleagues and teams across Asia and US markets to provide full 'follow the sun' coverage
• Inputting cash wire movements to settle claims and interest payments

Your skills

• 2+ years' experience in an Operations or Clearing role within Financial Services
• Knowledge of Financial Markets and Investment types is desirable but not essential
• Middle-Office support experience is advantageous
• Excellent customer and client facing demeanour and communication skills
