Management Accountant

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a Large Public Sector Organisation in their search for a Management Accountant on a Temporary Basis.

The Role:

• Finance planning, reporting and monitoring, maintaining control of allocated finances
• Assisting with budget preparations and recommendations
• Providing advice on financial issues
• Assisting with production of income and expenditure information
• Assisting in preparing and writing financial performance reports
• Liaising with internal and external auditors
• Undertaking corporate financial reporting

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

• Membership of a professional accounting body and a minimum of 2 year's experience in a senior finance role
• Hold a current UK driver's license
• Have understanding of computerised finance systems
• 2 years experience to include:
• Delivered against challenging financial planning and meeting a range of key targets
• Effective communication skills with a range of stakeholders
• Successfully demonstrated people management and leadership
