Job Description
MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Maintenance Technician for our locally owned manufacturing client based in Derry/Londonderry.

Key responsibilities
- Provide engineering support and repair on-site manufacturing equipment
- Oversee scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to reduce equipment failure rates
- Optimise machinery and plant performance to minimise downtime and optimise OEE
- Collaborate with production colleagues to maximise process efficiency
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency's and reduce costs
- Support installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment
- Contribute to the development of engineering processes and procedures to improve performance of machinery;
- Identify and report on P&M faults and provide feedback and improvement suggestions;
- Assist with installation of P&M;
Attributes / Experience required:
- Relevant qualification(s) in a mechanical or similar engineering discipline
- Time served in a mechanical maintenance engineering role
- Experience working on machinery repairs including pneumatic, hydraulic
- Career exposure within a high-volume production setting.
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic
