Learning & Development Partner
MCS Group is thrilled to be exclusively working in partnership an award winning manufacturing organisation in Craigavon, as they wish to appoint a Learning & Development partner on a fulltime, permanent basis.
The role
Reporting to the L&D Manager, the Learning & Development Partner will be responsible for evaluating training needs on site, reviewing current needs, practices and delivering a training development plan. The Learning & Development Officer will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the delivery of a professional Learning & Delivery service.

The main duties and responsibilities:
- Monitor and implement learning and development needs following analysis of skills gaps and business needs
- Ensuring the timely coordination and delivery of company inductions for all new starters
- Support and lead on L&D projects
- Ensure training is recorded appropriately on the learning management system
- Delivering in-house training sessions when required, including compliance refresher training
- Managing all practical training requirements and external course bookings
- Building and maintaining effective links with training providers
- Working with different business teams on embedding a learning culture within the organisation
- To ensure systems are accurate and continuous improvement measures implemented
- To support with succession planning
- Building strong, collaborative working relationships across the business and with external stakeholders

The successful candidate:
Essential:
- 3rd level education or similar
- A training/ L&D qualification
- 3 years of working in an L&D environment
- A proven track record in the design and delivery of a blended L&D service offering learning outcomes with a tangible business impact
- Naturally creative and passionate about Learning and Development, with strong communication and interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic approach
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills and able to motivate and inspire diverse groups of staff
- Experience of managing conflicting deadlines and priorities to meet the requirements of a large, complex site
Desirable:
- Work experience in a Manufacturing/FMCG organisation.
- Experience with supporting and developing people.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects.
