Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Implement and maintain game mechanics, features, and functionality in Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to create seamless user experiences.
• Assist in optimising performance to ensure smooth game play across various platforms.
• Work closely with artists and designers to integrate assets, animations, and visual effects.
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
• Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to enhance game play and overall user satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency in Unity and/or Unreal Engine development, with a strong understanding of their respective pipelines and tools.
• Solid programming skills in C# (for Unity) and/or C++ (for Unreal Engine).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• A portfolio showcasing projects that demonstrate your technical abilities and creativity in game development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with multiplier game development and networking.
• Familiarity with back-end cloud technologies, such as server integration, data storage, and RESTful APIs.
• Exposure to mobile game development and optimisation.
• Interest in emerging trends and technologies in the gaming and virtual reality industries.
