MCS Group are delighted to work with a brilliant Manufacturing company based in Larne, to recruit a Junior Buyer to join their team on a Permanent contract.

You will;

• Facilitate the onboarding of approved suppliers.
• Handling the processing and investigation of invoice inquiries.
• Creating and maintaining New Product Item Cards.
• Overseeing the tender process for goods and services.
• Engaging in negotiations for Supply Agreements and Purchase costs.
• Ensuring timely delivery and maintaining quality standards for goods and services.
• Generating purchase orders to meet manufacturing requirements using MRP.
• Managing Purchase Orders for Maintenance and Site Services across all sites.
• Creating, updating, and reporting on Supplier Delivery Performance, OTIF, and PPV KPIs.
• Providing support to remote sites for direct and indirect purchasing requirements and transfer management.
• Identifying, sourcing, and negotiating terms and conditions for the supply of non-production related materials.
• Collaborating with the Planning Team to resolve any issues without impacting Customer Experience.
• Maintaining the Approved Supplier List and Appraisal System, including creating new suppliers and maintaining records.

Criteria;

• GCSE or Equivalent at grade C or above in English and Maths
• A minimum of 1 years' experience gained in a manufacturing environment, or similar role.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management
• Experience in managing tendering processes
