MCS Group is seeking an experienced IT Technician to join a Belfast-based educational institution. This is a temporary hourly-paid position with a six-month contract (with the possibility of extension) that offers a salary of £22,000 to £30,000.

The Role:

• Administration and maintenance of IT equipment on site
• Installation, repair, and setup of external systems (e.g. CCTV, telephone systems)
• Troubleshooting of software and network issues
• Preparation and installation of audio-visual technology for college events
• Liaising with third parties when necessary

The Person:

• At least one year of experience in an IT support role
• Recognised computer or network qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 4)
• GCSEs in Maths and English (minimum grade C) or equivalent
• Experience in network management, data interpretation, and project management
• Independent learner with strong problem-solving skills
