IT Service Operations Transformation Manager

MCS Group is seeking an experienced IT Service Operations Transformation Manager to join an organisation that services large-scale clients across the public and banking sectors. In this role you will scope, and then execute large-scale data migrations, within a complex and evolving environment, where you will be tasked with running IT transformation projects, ensuring all parties are kept up to date.

The role

• Own, and ultimately drive large-scale IT Transformation projects
• Identify the current IT set-up across software & hardware, and map out the to-be process to migrate data across large-scale environments
• Use all of your experience to provide technical solutions across a complex large-scale project
• Ensure all stakeholders and 3rd parties are kept up to date with the progress of your work
• Engage with suppliers, customers and internal teams to plan and execute solution migration
• Create/build a team for business operations maintaining excellent customer service levels

Needed to succeed

• Service management experience across IT infrastructure
• Both strategic and hands-on technical experience
• A proven experience in managing complex, and evolving needs
• An ability to communicate with stakeholders of all levels
• Close attention to detail, great time management, and the drive to ensure a successful project competition
• Transformation experience with cloud technologies
• Proven experience of incident management, change management and problem management
