MCS Group is currently recruiting for an experienced IT Manager on behalf of a reputable Retail company based in County Antrim. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation and play a crucial role in managing and optimising its IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and understand business requirements and provide innovative IT solutions to support their objectives.
• Maintain and optimise the company's SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability, on their current system.
• Handle the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of VOIP Systems, ensuring seamless communication across the organisation, and assisting in the identification of appropriate upgrades for this system.
• Managing a small support team.
• Collaborate with external vendors and service providers, managing contracts, negotiations, and service level agreements and ensuring technology licences.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role (retail or wholesale environment would be beneficial).
• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting VOIP systems, ensuring smooth communication across multiple locations.
• Can demonstrate an in-depth understanding of IT hardware, software, and retail technologies.
• Experience in Microsoft Operating systems, Windows 10, Servers, Active Directory and Microsoft 365/Azure Solutions.
