IT Infrastructure Engineer

MCS Group is currently working with a leading independent manufacturing company, who are seeking a talented Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support all IT infrastructure
• Drive technical projects and seek opportunities for continuous improvement
• Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve them efficiently
• Apply security best practices and proactively address potential threats
• Ensure both local and cloud-based infrastructure operate smoothly
• Collaborate with teams to achieve company and department goals

About You

To be considered, you will need:

• Proven experience in an infrastructure role
• Strong networking and security expertise
• Experience in Server and Desktop Virtualisation (Hyper-V or VMware)
• Hands-on experience managing Microsoft infrastructure
• Proficiency in managing systems and software such as: Windows Server, Win 10, VSphere, Hyper-V, and Nix
• Knowledge of SaaS and cloud environments

This role is based in the Greater Belfast area and offers a hybrid working opportunity, the role will also include occasion travel to different company sites across the UK.
