Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain VMware virtualisation solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimised virtual infrastructure performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data centre solutions.
• Ensure the security and availability of data centre infrastructure.
• Provide technical support for infrastructure-related issues.
• Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure expansion projects.
• Document infrastructure configurations, changes, and best practices.
• Travel to data centre in Dublin once a week.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience working with VMware virtualization technologies.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of data center operations and best practices.
• Proficiency in storage, networking, and server hardware.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a bonus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn about emerging technologies.
• Full clean driver's license.
