MCS Group is currently working with a home-grown Manufacturing Company is currently seeking an IT Administrator. This presents an exciting opportunity to join one of the most forward-thinking manufacturers in the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for administering, configuring, and providing support for IT services within the Manufacturing Company.

Key Qualifications:

1. Strong proficiency and a track record of 2-5 years in managing core IT infrastructure.
2. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management.
3. Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and 2022, including expertise in patch management, server hardening, and security implementations.
4. Experience with virtualisation (Hyper-V), as well as the management of SAN and data backup systems.
5. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
6. A robust grasp of IT security, including current threat landscapes and industry best practices.
7. Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
8. Willingness to travel within the Manufacturing Company.
9. Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a car.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of Cisco Switching, including installation, configuration, and management.
2. Familiarity with Firewall Management, security, and configuration.
3. Experience in Mobile Phone Management, configuration, and support.

Remunerations:

1. £30,000 - £40,000
2. Monday to Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
