Job Description

MCS Group is delighted to assisting a key client based in the Enniskillen area source an Interim Management Accountant. 12-18 Month contract. Hybrid role. Immediate need.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and Financial Controller as Interim Management Accountant you will:

Be responsible for the compilation and production of monthly and yearly management accounts and consolidation of same

Lead the design and implementation of financial results for new business units, profit centres and cost centres

Prepare financial reports for submission to Group and presentations to the FC/FD and Executive of Encirc Limited

Key user for SAP BPC and other Group reporting platforms

Manage the group's financial control function, including daily and monthly management accounts.

Assist with the management and coordinate the interim & annual audit process with external and internal auditors

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies

Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliation and control

Ensure best practice in relation to financial processes and standards, and to maintain the culture of continuous quality improvement within the accounts/finance function.

Responsible for the support of Junior staff

Assist with the budgeting and cost control - including the budgeting process working closely with department heads to establish spending plans and monitoring expenses.

Build relationships across the business, enhanced by clear and simplified communication of results / processes

Support the training non-finance staff in the use of the SAP system

Essential Functional / Technical Skills

  • +2 years experience preferably within the industry
  • Qualified Accountant (+3yrs)
  • Degree qualified preferable but not essential (or relevant experience)
