Interim Accounting Manager - Belfast (Exclusive)

MCS Group are exclusively looking for an interim Accounting Manager to join a global IT company based in Belfast for an initial 6 months with the opportunity to go permanent.

The Company:

Our client is a global IT company based in Belfast with multiple sites across the UK, US and APAC regions. They specialise in software for the professional and financial services sectors. Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to recruit an interim Accounting Manager as they look to build out their accounting function in Belfast.

The Role:

As the successful Interim Accounting Manager, you will report directly to the Senior Accounting Manager and will be responsible for the following:

• Help build out Belfast accounting function;
• Oversee day-to-day, month-end & year-end close;
• Perform monthly, quarterly & annual variance analysis;
• Prepare/review monthly & quarterly reporting packs;
• Assist with implementing accounting policies & procedures;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Interim Accounting Manager will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Qualified By Experience;
• Open to industry or practice background;
• Strong technical accounting experience;
• Strong communication skills.
