Infrastructure Specialist - Platform & Cloud

MCS Group is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to support and enhance the IT systems and cloud platforms of one of Northern Ireland's largest enterprises. This senior role offers the opportunity to work across diverse, cutting-edge technologies, acting as a primary escalation point and designing resilient, enterprise-level systems.

Position Details:

• Salary: £50k-£60k, dependent on experience
• Location: On-site, Craigavon (5 days a week)
• Environment: Large-scale, enterprise-level IT estate

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the senior escalation point for 3rd-level technical issues.
• Manage and support extensive virtualised environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Develop and deliver secure, scalable solutions in a hybrid cloud environment (Azure).
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to implement the latest technologies and meet evolving business needs.

About You:

To excel in this role, you should bring:

• Proven experience in senior-level troubleshooting.
• Expert knowledge in virtualised environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft O365 cloud services.
• Experience operating within large-scale, enterprise IT estates.
