HSE Officer (MAT cover)

MCS Group is proud to work with a local success story, to recruit a HSE Officer on a maternity cover contract to join their team working with some of the most recognisable companies globally on their two Manufacturing sites in Co. Down.

This role will be responsible for;

• Provide HSE advice and support to Managers, supervisors, and colleagues for the entire company workforce, subcontracted labour, other site workers and members of the public.
• To develop a strong working relationship with all levels of employees and promote a culture of engagement and continual improvement.
• To create & maintain safe systems of work (RAMS etc) and ensure these are being effectively applied.
• Maintain contractor onboarding and evaluation process.
• Plan, review and record Emergency preparedness across all sites across company locations
• To complete/maintain HSE Office, Site, Workshop & Equipment inspections & records.
• Driving continual improvement
• To complete incident investigations and identify and implement improvement measures.
