Job Description
The Role will consist of:
- Being the lead officer for HR software systems, including CORE HR, managing people, absence, and training modules.
- Promote and champion the use of CORE HR across the organisation through targeted interventions and training.
- Oversee CORE HR system enhancements, rollouts, and improvements in collaboration with HR, OD, and Digital Services.
- Coordinate system testing, configuration, and communication of upgrades and changes to users.
- Provide systems administration, user support, and troubleshooting for HR and OD elements of CORE HR.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for HR systems, automating processes and developing holistic solutions.
- Generate, audit, and manage reports and dashboards to support statutory requirements and HR analytics.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize system processes and ensure seamless integration.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential:
- An HND or equivalent Level 5 qualification in Computer science or IT systems related subject.
- OR 2 'A' Levels or equivalent will be accepted along with three years relevant experience as outlined below.
- At least one* years relevant work experience in each of the following:
- Assisting with the management and maintenance of a HR database and software system within a HR function
- Analysing complex information and producing high level HR reports
- Managing a project relevant to computerised information system(s)
- Training and supporting users of a computerised system
Desirable:
- Experience assisting with the management of an integrated HR, Payroll and time and attendance system.
- Experience of CORE HR
- Experience of using business intelligence software such as Power Bi or Tableau
- An spreadsheet qualification
