HR Officer - Private Sector - Belfast
MCS Group is thrilled to be partnering with one of Northern Ireland's largest private sector organisations, a multi-faceted business covering Retail, wholesale, and hospitality, who are currently seeking an HR Officer on a permanent basis.
The Role
You will be supporting in the delivery of a comprehensive and professional HR Service, working closely with management in a multi-faceted and multi-site organisation. You will be exposed to the full HR remit but will have a primary focus on employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide comprehensive HR support and guidance to the management team on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with best HR practice and employment legislation
- To advise and support Managers in dealing with employee relations issues including, but not limited to, investigations, disciplinary, grievance, capability, flexible working, attendance management and health and wellbeing issues
- To manage the full end to end recruitment process for various positions as required in order to attract the best talent
- To assist with HR administrative support as required
- To promote a professional image of the HR team at all times maintaining the highest standards of integrity
- Any other duties relevant and related to the position
The successful Candidate
- Minimum 3 years of experience within a busy HR environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Can work autonomously or within a team
- Organised
- Strong ER background
- A full drivers license
- Level 5 CIPD qualified or working towards
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
While not essential a Third level qualification in Business or HR would be preferred.
