HR Generalist

HR Generalist - Monaghan - Award-winning organisation

MCS Group has been chosen to partner with an organisation that is an industry leader in its respective field, as they look to introduce an HR Generalist to their team, on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role:

To provide HR Generalist support to the business with a varied remit to include recruitment, attendance management, performance management, employee welfare, engagement and employee relations.

The main responsibilities:

• Support site recruitment and selection processes.
• Responsible for HR administration, including resourcing, induction process, probation, off boarding, retirement, HR KPIs, resolving payroll queries, and processing status changes to the wider HR team.
• Support and assist managers in employee relation matters including investigations, disciplinary meetings and hearings.
• Responsible for supporting and implementing engagement, communications and culture development initiatives on site.
• Provide HR officer support for HR-wide initiatives including any projects.
• Represent the company at careers events and job fairs.
• Co-ordinate, plan and deliver various training interventions.
• Support managers in matters such as performance management, absence management, problem solving, engagement etc.

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in an HR function.
• Strong recruitment experience.
• Experience supporting with Employee Relations in an Irish organisation/
• Third-level qualification in HR/Business related discipline or equivalent.
• CIPD qualified or working towards.
