HR Generalist - Dublin - Permanent

The role:
The HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in managing and supporting various human resources functions within the organization. Your responsibilities will be broad, encompassing a wide range of tasks across HR disciplines.

The main responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for new hires, including conducting HR inductions to integrate employees smoothly.
- Serve as a key point of contact for HR and payroll queries, providing expert support to both employees and managers.
- Coordinate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities and champion employee development programs.
- Administer and manage the company's new time and attendance system to ensure accurate tracking.
- Prepare comprehensive HR metrics and reports for management.
- Regularly update and maintain the employee handbook to ensure compliance with current policies and procedures.
- Oversee probation reviews, annual appraisals, and employee surveys to drive continuous improvement and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a busy HR function.
- Previous payroll experience is required, experience dealing with hourly rates would be an advantage.
- A HR degree or other relevant HR qualification is required.
- Excellent knowledge of Irish Employment Law.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential.
