MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a growing organisation in the County Antrim area as they look to add an HR Business Partner to their team in this newly created, full-time permanent role.

The role:

A growing organisation in the manufacturing sector is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping the people strategy and supporting managers across the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement, performance management, and development.

The main responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee recruitment plans and onboarding processes
• Provide expert support on employee relations, grievances, disciplinaries, and absence management
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and culture development
• Lead training needs analysis and support development planning
• Manage HR systems and ensure compliance with employment legislation
• Support performance reviews and assist with apprenticeship programmes

The ideal candidate:

• Degree-qualified in HR or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in a similar role, or an experienced HR Officer looking for the next move in their HR career.
• CIPD membership.
• Strong working knowledge across core HR areas such as performance management, employee relations, engagement, and recruitment.
• Confident advising senior managers and handling complex HR cases.
• Practical experience and knowledge of NI Legislation.
