Job Description

HR Assistant - Professional Services - Dublin

MCS Group is delighted to partner with an award-winning organisation in Dublin as they look to add an HR Assistant to their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 15 months.

Role Overview:

As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the HR functions. You will work closely with the HR Manager and team to provide comprehensive support across a range of HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for HR and experience within a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and departing employees.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Support the wider HR team in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives, including scheduling, communication, and tracking participation.
  • Assist in managing employee relations, addressing employee inquiries, and supporting conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, staying up-to-date with any changes.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within the Professional services industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the firm.
