HR and Talent Advisor - Private Sector - Magherafelt - Permanent

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a prestigious family run organisation, based in the Magherafelt area, in the recruitment of an HR and Talent Advisor, to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional, who is looking to join an organisation that takes pride in their employees and offers continuous learning and development opportunities.

The Role

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR and Talent Advisor will provide support to the full employee life cycle. While this role is predominantly Generalist, the successful candidate will have a focus on overseeing all end-to-end recruitment and ensure the smooth running of this process. Key responsibilities include -

• Manage all recruitment and selection campaigns, providing support in advertising, shortlisting, liaising with candidates, and involvement in interview panels.
• Ensuring onboarding process is managed effectively.
• Manage all short-term and long-term absence.
• Maintain and update any HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Review and develop HR policies and procedures in line with legislative changes.
• Assist and lead any corporate responsibility engagement activities.
• Advise managers on employee relations and provide support where necessary.

The Successful Candidate

• Degree in HR, or a relative field
• CIPD qualification
• At least 2 years' experience in an HR Generalist position
• Proficient in using HRIS and Microsoft Office programmes
• Ability to work under pressure and effectively in a team
• Ability to bring a positive approach to any given task
