Job Description
MCS Group are seeking an energetic and ambitious Health & Safety Manager for a multi-site role with a focus on creating a safety-first culture and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a safety-first culture across four sites.
- Manage BS ISO:45001 standard for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and implement rigorous risk management systems.
- Collaborate with HR for training and education.
- Manage health and safety compliance schedules, internal audits and inspections to include hygiene.
- Monitor and report KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Lead accident and incident management.
- Drive cultural change and strategy implementation.
- Develop innovative safety programs.
- Provide technical expertise and policy management.
- Represent the organization to external parties.
- Foster sustainable manufacturing excellence.
Essential Criteria:
- NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety and NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Assessment Certificate
- Minimum 3 years' Officer-level manufacturing experience.
- BS ISO:45001 management experience.
- Proficient in current H&S legislation.
Desirable Criteria:
- IOSH membership.
- Knowledge of UK & Ireland H&S Legislation.
- ISO Auditor qualification.
- NEBOSH Diploma.
