Front-End Developer - Contract

MCS Group has a unique contract opportunity for a Front-End Developer in Belfast. This is a 12 month contract, Inside IR35, with on-site working in the City Centre. This Contract Front-End Developer will gain unparalleled exposure to the fast paced and dynamic FinTech sector. You will be involved in everything from system design and technical direction to application architecture, working with JavaScript and React/Vue.

The Role

• You will work on everything from code review, to deciding best practice, contributing to process enhancements and developing across all aspects of the project.
  
  
• The role is hybrid, with 2 days per week on-site in Belfast City Centre.
  
  
• The contract will last for 12 months.
  
  
• You will bring your expertise with core JavaScript and the frameworks (ideally React or Vue) to make a positive contribution to the project's progress.

The Person

• Commercial experience of JavaScript and front-end frameworks/libraries including VueJS or ReactJS is essential for this contract.
  
  
• You will also have demonstrable experience with CSS, HTML5, Web Based Technologies, web Components, Websocket technology, and RESTful Web Services.
  
  
• Experience of MVC, MVVM, MVW frameworks is required.
  
  
• Experience developing products with microservice and/or microfrontend architecture is highly desirable.

Daily Rate: £500+
Duration: 12 months
Location: 2 days per week on site in Belfast Northern Ireland for the duration of the contract.
