Firmware Engineer (Yocto/Linux)

MCS Group is working with a globally renowned and market-leading energy firm as they look for a Contract Firmware Engineer to join the team in Lisburn. This Firmware Engineer will gain invaluable experience in a highly relevant sector, and work on market-leading systems and projects. This is a highly specialised position, and experience in Linux builds and working with Yocto is required.

The Details
This Firmware Engineer will…

• Potentially come from an electrical or mechanical engineering background, with a move into development and an understanding of embedded development practices.
• Have extensive commercial experience working with Embedded C and Assemblers.
• Have experience with Embedded Linux, ARM Architectures, DSP and FPGAs.
• Yocto experience is essential for this position.

Salary: Equivalent to £60k - £70k per annum (paid as an hourly rate)
Location: This is an on-site role in Lisburn
