Finance and Procurement Lead

The role

• Lead in the preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Prepare commentary and analysis on budget vs actuals
• Lead monthly financial review meetings with budget holders
• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts including supporting schedules, reconciliation of key accounts and reviewing data
• Act as primary POC for internal and external auditors
• Prepare and review schedules including fixed assets, prepayments and accruals
• Conduct review of monthly payroll
• Provide effective line management to a small team
• Develop and implement procurement plans aligning with financial goals and operational requirements

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

• Professional accounting qualification with experience in a fast-paced finance role including:
• Finance management
• Strong proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Successful experience managing a team

Desirable:

• Experience with grants and funders
• Experience in procurement activities
