Employment Tax Manager - Belfast

MCS Group is delighted to be working with a market leading Accountancy Practice looking to recruit for an Employment Tax Manager.

The Company:

Our client is a well-established accountancy practice in the Belfast area. They provide a range of services from Accounts, Audit, Taxation, Corporate Finance etc. to an array of clients across NI & ROI. Due to continued growth, now is a great time to join the company as they look to add a Manager to their Employment Tax team.

The Role:

As the successful manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Working with a portfolio of clients and dealing with any queries/questions, offering advice and consultative services
• A strong understanding of IFRS and IR35
• Dealing with businesses in both the UK and ROI
• Developing your skills in other areas of taxation such as global mobility and share scheme implementation

The Person:

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Relevant professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT)
• Experience within Employment Tax
• Experience operating within IFRS and IR35
• Experience working with both UK and ROI companies
• Specialist Tax knowledge and the ability to deal with complex tax problems
• The ability to build and develop client relationships
