MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer for the role of Electrical Training & Development Manager for our specialist engineering consultancy based in Belfast.

This is unique opportunity, offering an experienced Electrical Engineer to join an industry leading partner to play an instrumental part in the development, implementation, management, and delivery of a growing portfolio of courses as the Senior Training & Development Manager for our clients Belfast Training Academy.

You will develop an Electrical Centre of excellence for High/Low Voltage along with renewable sector courses.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing an industry lead networking group to engage with various Academia organisations to address the increasing skills shortage in the Electrical discipline.

The successful candidate:

• You will be highly motivated, confident, safety conscious and highly experienced in a relevant Electrical Engineering role either as a High Voltage Authorised Person or with significant experience in controlling electrical safe systems of work within your previous roles.
• Display capability of managing the activity, taking responsibility and acting safely under all circumstances both as a High Voltage Authorised Person and as a Trainer in the delivery of High Voltage and Low Voltage Power Systems Operational courses.
• You hold at least a ONC, HNC Degree or equivalent in an electrical engineering subject and have undertaken relevant training course associated and willing to ensure refresher courses are completed as required.
