Job Description
Director of Operations & Growth - SistersIN
It all started with an idea in 2018, and a small pilot in 2019/2020 but has now grown to be a phenomenon. Through the energy, support and enthusiasm of our mentors, mentees, board and schools involved, SistersIN is ready to take the next step in our mission "to enable, empower and develop female pupils in education to become the leaders of tomorrow."
With the number of participating schools ever-increasing, the 188 girls and 188 mentors from 130 different organisations who have contributed so far to making a difference have made the SistersIN Leadership Programme, truly one of a kind.
As part of the next stage of our journey, SistersIN are seeking to appoint (funded by The James Kane Foundation) a new Director of Operations & Growth who will hold the strategic and operational responsibility for developing the organisation and delivering the organisation's vision of "inspiring tomorrow's female leaders."
The Director of Operations & Growth will also be responsible for oversight and management of the SistersIN Leadership Programme, and SistersIN's performance in the provision of quality fund-raising and impactful project-funding activities to enhance the long-term growth, financial sustainability, and profile of the organisation. The Director of Operations & Growth, in liaison with the Board of Directors, will also be responsible for ensuring the charity operates in line with appropriate governance.
