MCS Group is delighted to be working with a leading Aerospace client to recruit several Mechanical Design Engineers. You will join a well-established Engineering team based in Banbridge with plans for expansion.

In this role you will work within multi-disciplined Engineering teams to deliver innovative design solutions for new concepts & customisation of existing products for customers across the globe, ensuring delivery to cost, time, quality & adherence to strict aerospace regulations and suitability for manufacturing.

As the Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the 3D Design & Integration of our client's products and 3^rd party supplied equipment ensuring all governance to meet requirements is adhered to.

You will Design products in 2D & 3D modelling format, whilst producing technical reports, diagrams and engineering documentation, support test plan development, and provide production & project support.

The successful candidate-

• Will hold an engineering degree/relevant apprenticeship or equivalent with at least 2 years' experience working in an engineering design environment. (Aerospace or Automotive background desirable)
• engineering design experience using 3D CAD software to produce 3D part and assembly models and drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and experience with PLM systems.
