MCS Group is proud to be working with a rapidly growing company as they seek to add an experienced Support or IT infrastructure engineer to take responsibility for their internal cybersecurity. You will be joining a busy but supportive environment and will gain exposure to an array of technologies deployed here in NI and further afield in GB in a business that is still very much family-owned.

The role:

• A working knowledge of Active Directory, MS Exchange, o365, Citrix, networking principles and a friendly approach are all required
• You will be joining a busy but small and supportive team where you will train staff in best practices in Cyber Security
• Act to harden their IT estate working with their 3rd party cyber security provider
• Maintain their Cyber Security accreditations and work to improve their documentation

About you:

• You will be an experienced support engineer coming from a busy internal support environment or MSP background ideally 2 years
• You will be dealing with company owners, directors and senior managers amongst others, and will have an appreciation of the service aspect that IT support requires and must embody this friendly and approachable attitude
• Hungry to apply your troubleshooting skills in a new and challenging environment coupled with the eagerness to learn from the opportunities you are provided
• Technically experienced to work within a technical support team focusing on their internal IT Security procedures, policies and training
