An industry leading organisation are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their tight knit team. This position is perfect for an experienced professional eager to take a pivotal role in managing credit risk and nurturing positive customer relationships within an established finance department.

Credit Controller Responsibilities

• Overseeing designated customer accounts and ensuring payments are received within the agreed-upon credit terms.

• Maintaining regular communication with customers through phone and email to encourage prompt payment.

• Monitoring accounts with a history of bad debt, identifying those that need extra attention or present a higher risk of default.

• Negotiating and finalising payment plans with customers, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial and consistently followed.

• Issuing credit notes and securely handling card payments over the phone.

• Ensuring adherence to the company's credit management policies to sustain financial stability.

Credit Controller Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in credit control and debt collection.

• Proficiency in using Excel.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

Credit Controller Benefits

• Base salary of £27,000 - £28,000.
